Archiving

Of course, this event occurred in the past, but this is the leaflet that was circulated around the village, inviting residents to the open evening and giving them a chance to look around the freshly renovated hotel.   Hopefully lots of people attended; the feedback from the few who posted on Facebook was quite positive! I used to help run a Science Fiction club based in Reading, Berkshire (United Kingdom). I had a very, very minor role in the club, but it was a fantastic thing I enjoyed immensely and a time in my life I look back on very fondly. Here are a couple of images; Yep. That's me in the Babylon 5 uniform!  Anyway, I got distracted. Here are the first four issues of the "Frontier" magazine that the club used to publish and circulate to club members: Scans are low quality - I probably scanned them 20 years ago with an old flat-bed scanner! A leaflet from 2003 in relation to the plan in Cambridgeshire (United Kingdom) to replace the decommissioned railway line between Cambridge and Huntingdon with a Guided Busway.   The leaflet is available on the Internet Archive here .

Here are some high-resolution scans of Acorn User issues from 1998, including the 200th issue from November. The Acorn User magazine started with the BBC Micro/Electron, but these issues date to the 32-bit RISC OS/Archimedes era. All five issues are available on a single item here .
